ILA Swimwear Commercials

There’s a reason why they call Hawaii paradise and it was with no reservations that we took on this project for ILA Swim, the new swimwear company started by Avian Ku of Netflix’s Terrace House fame. Brown and bred in Hawaii, she wanted the commercials to feel more lifestyle and wanderlust inspired rather than overtly branded. In essence: it had to feel genuine and authentic. Not staged.

Not being any strangers to travel videos, we were more than happy to oblige. Shot over a week on the main Hawaiian island of Oahu, we went all the way to the North Shore then to Waikiki and everything in-between to capture the beauty and elegance of the girls and the island. Set to a backdrop of Reinchez Ng’s island-themed score, we crafted a music video esque montage of three girls (in ILA Swimwear) having the time of their lives and enjoying the best Hawaii has to offer.
