Corina the Tiger Goes Home

These are some strange times and I was very fortune to be able to work on a COVID-19 commercial for the APRIL Group, the world's second largest paper supplier all the way in the island of Sumatra, Indonesia. We shot this heartfelt project over a week and launched it on social media shortly after where it struck a chord with viewers and both English and Indonesian versions garnered more than 2 million views on social media (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube). APRIL Group: Corina the Tiger Goes Home

We've all seen Tiger King, but nothing prepares you for the moment you come face to face with a wild tiger. I found myself in such a position just last December, when I got a call from our clients at APRIL that they were preparing to release Corina, a wild Sumatran tiger, back into the wild. In a few short hours, we found ourselves being airlifted via helicopter into the thickest jungles of Sumatra.

It so happened that Corina was getting a GPS collar fitted to her that day, and we were there to not only document that process, but also film interviews with the local vets, RER conservation team, and renowned Producer/Conservationist Joe Yaggi.
